What area do you primarily do your sessions?

My home studio is based in Ahwatukee (south of Phoenix) and primarily in the East Valley area. But I am available to travel anywhere!

Why should I choose you to take care of my photography?
What’s so unique about you?

Don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I’m fun! I want to make you giggle hysterically,
because laughter really IS the best medicine. I’m not going to make you pose at every single second,
some of the best shots come when you don’t even realize that the camera is pointed at you.

It’s been a while since I’ve had professional photos taken. Why now?

Hate to be corny, but every single second is precious. And one day your great great great granddaughter is going to be electronically going through photos in her head (That’s where we are heading, right! Ha ha…), and she’s going to see your photos and feel an instant connection. Every photo will last several lifetimes, and I think it’s my responsibility to document that for you.

When is payment due? What type of payment can I make? What if I need something refunded?

Each Lucky package requires a session fee/retainer and a signed contract. This reserves me for the date and time and also includes travel and editing. The entire booking retainer is nonrefundable. If you are unhappy for any reason we will work together as best we can to fix the issue and so that everyone is happy!

You can pay with via Paypal or with cash, credit/debit card, check, money order. I will send you an electronic invoice to your email and you can pay with a card right there. It does NOT store your card number, I will only see that the charge was paid.

What happens once the session is complete?

No more than 2 weeks after your session I will email you and let you know that your photos are up online in a secure gallery, password protected (exception for Births & Fresh 48s). You can check them out and decide to continue with Digital Images or have me over to do a “proofing meeting” to order print products.

What types of products do you have for purchase?

the Lucky Shot provides both printed and digital products to our clients. For those of you who would like to decorate your home and life with art, we have plenty of a-la-carte print and canvas options. We can also accommodate your purchase if you’d rather receive a high-res digital file (printing/web release given).

How and when do I get my print products?

There is a 2-3 week turnaround for prints and product. Your memories are precious and need time to be printed and/or mounted on high quality paper. During our “proofing session” we will discuss shipping/delivery or if you will be doing a pick up.

When should I book my newborn or maternity session(s)?

Please don’t hesitate to contact me as soon as you can! Life can get quite hectic when you’re pregnant or home with a newborn and waiting to schedule can feel stressful finding a photographer to take photos of your baby. Book ahead of time and you can relax knowing it’s taken care of! I prefer to schedule my pregnant clients between 32-36 weeks and fit the precious newbies in around 5-12 days (though, they can be older as well).

How do I schedule a photo shoot with you?

At the top of this blog is a button that says “Contact”  – Here you will find a form that asks for your name, email, the kind of session you want to book etc. Fill that out and send! I’ll get back to you as soon as possible, usually no more than 48 hours or so.
